We backtracked to the Geological Museum in Parrsboro. Interesting stuff. I may have picked up a gemstone on the beach. The museum is one of a system of sites that offer free wifi to visitors so we caught u on email. Also have a brochure with all of libraries which also have wifi access. So that helps. Then headed out on another twisty, bumpy road to Truro where we had a great lunch. Jack is doing a good job of picking the lunch yummies. Unfortunately our luck with dinners is not so good in Canada and all expensive. Food has not been memorable except for Jack's finds. We are now turning south towards the Atlantic and Halifax. Will go along the south shore of Nova Scotia heading west and then head back to Halifax for the tourist thing. Funny to see so many people who hang their laundry out as we travel along. Also everyone chopping wood. Getting ready for next winter I guess. Lots of farms. Very rural and if not rural than forests. Not what I expected really. Without phone service for a couple days and able to find public places with wifi so will keep looking for opportunities to communicate. Picture is along the main street in Truro. They replaced all of the diseased elms with carvings made out their trunks. Pretty neat.
