Day 35 Sunday June 10

Drove along the St John and Long Branch Rivers from Fredericton to Saint John. Still in New Brunswick. Beautiful and in the entire trip saw only 3 sailboats and a motor boat. What a waste. Wonder why? Maybe too early and cool for people although warm and sunny earlier. Although scenic the roads were rough, narrow, and no shoulders. So much for good roads in NB. Very wearing and took forever. Looked like a lot of farms that are not longer working farms. Very threatening clouds as we neared Saint John on the Bay of Fundy so we came directly to this great camp in a city park – huge with golf course and zoo called Rockwood Park. Raining on and off so we will do the tourist stuff tomorrow. You can see the tide changing in the picture. I think I forgot to say our park last night catered to gay/lesbian couples. They wanted to know if it mattered to us.
