Day13 Sat May 19

Pouring down rain when we were disconnecting the rv this am. Spent over 4 hours at the FDR Presidential Library/Museum in Hyde Park. It's wonderful. Learned a lot and of course Jack reminiscing. I was born April 10 and FDR died April 12, 1945 so I think I can say before my time except for 2 days. He thinks the chair and radio in the fireside chat room - could actually listen to the chats - were the furniture from his mother's house or close to it. Whole section devoted to Eleanor who had even more of the brains in the family it seems. Very well done. In Interlake rv park tonight near Rhinebeck. Very nice and as empty as the rest. Depending on the weather, we may stay here another night. Still lots to do around here.
As you can tell by the picture, still raining at Hyde Park so I couldn't sit next to FDR.
