Spent the morning around the state park and in Lewes until it was time for the Lewes-Cape May Ferry. Great little town - the oldest town in the oldest state. Ferry ride was just enough. Left at 12:45 for about 70 minute ride. Picture is of the same ferry going the opposite way that we passed. As we left boat, truck driver who followed us said we had no brake lights. So stopped in Cape May for yummy lunch - crab/shrimp cakes and Bloody Mary's. Reggin Gas Station across the street and Frank the owner dropped everything to help us and did! Fixed the brake lights although we had already had them fixed before we left Tampa. AND THEN he didn't want to take any money!?! So what do you make of that??? Then headed to Dorothy, NJ to our campsite for the night. Unfortunately had to take the NJ Garden State Parkway. Ugh - one lane because of resurfacing. Took forever but once off of it on Route 50, great ride to Dorothy - which is near the glass works thing we want to see tomorrow. It's been a long time since I have been up this way. Cannot believe the development. Back to back realtors. We are trying to stay out of the big cities as much as possible.
