Day 39 Thursday June 14

Interesting day. Stopped in Spring Hill Nova Scotia. The home of guess who? No, Anne Murray and there is a center devoted to her. Kind of interesting and part of the re-development of this town that has a long history of coal mining and tragedies. Had a great hamburger in this little place next to the center and then on to the Coal Mining Museum. Well done and had to gear up to actually go down into the mine. Then onto Parrsboro and this fabulous camp on Minas Bay which is part of the Bay of Fundy. We are still on the same side of the Bay as we were in New Brunswick. I think I forgot to say how beautiful the ride to Sussex NB was. Just one after another of beautiful dairy farms along the way. The roads in Nova Scotia are horrible so far and it is all set up with these tourist trails to follow so you think they would be good. Need repair badly. So again with the tides which are amazing. Jack still outside watching them. A staircase down to the beach right next to us. Took a walk and had the entire beach to myself. Glorious.
