What a dreary day. Perfect for having the rv serviced in Saco. Really nice people. Drove us to McDonalds in a little strip mall while they were working on the Cover Girl. Had free wifi in the McDonalds so Jack and I both got some work done. Very happy to have us just sitting and having coffee for a couple hours. They were finished with the rv about 12:30 so we backtracked to go to Kennebunkport - just to say we were there. Didn't get to the compound, no sight of GW. Putin will be here in July I think. Very small place and hard to park the rv so I just took a few shots and we drove on. Very picturesque but we didn't get beyond the main street. Kennebunk is a very old town from the 1600's. Beautiful old Victorian mansions there. Also saw the WestPoint Stevens Mills in Biddeford. A huge complex and it looked like some of it had been converted to condos or something.
Ended up in Wassamki Springs Campground only 6 miles from Portland. It is so great - my favorite camp so far and Jack's is still Lake Champlain. They recommended a little local yokel restaurant where we had steamed lobster and clams. Good deal. Still raining. Hope it clears up for our visit to Portland tomorrow. Will be staying over in this camp tomorrow.
